Saturday, May 6th Konkrete Jungle Mile High is proud to bring you the first in our series “Jungle Bosses” featuring very special guest DJ Hybrid. As anyone who listens to Jungle knows, DJ Hybrid is an absolute Don of the New Jungle movement. He hit the scene in 2013 with the anthem “Bad Boy” before establishing the incredibly influential Deep in the Jungle Records to showcase the talents of an ever expanding roster of dedicated Jungle producers. In 2019 he teamed up with Dope Ammo and scored a massive award winning hit with their remix of “Let Me Be Your Fantasy” by Baby D. DJ Hybrid is one of the most prolific producers and remixers in the game, dropping releases on his own Deep in the Jungle label as well as Jungle Cakes, DeVice, D’n’B Allstars and most recently Liondub International, where he released his critically acclaimed full length album “Diary of a Junglist” earlier this year. DJ Hybrid is making his long awaited debut in Colorado while on a quick tour of Canada and only a has a handful of dates in the US, so you can expect a whole heap of dubplate exclusives that you’d probably only hear if you traveled to the UK, so don’t miss this once in a lifetime chance to catch a Jungle Boss at the absolute top of his game.
On support we’ve got the mighty Xian Juan, who has released tunes on Deep in the Jungle, Jungle Tings Audio, and Box Fulla Records (which features a remix by the legendary Undercover Agent), alongside Konkrete Jungle Mile High residents Medicated Drums, Adam Hester and Konkrete Jungle NYC founder Cassien. And hosting the event we’ve got the one and only Spellbinder, one of the most versatile and talented MCs in the game. This is gonna be a night of the best in proper Jungle vibes for the Colorado Massive!
